Just playing with the idea for a Reaping Profit cover.

We're going to alternate Tuesdays between Invisible, Inc. and Reaping Profit until late August, when Dose concludes and then our poor cancer patient takes over Thursdays.
Tomas is getting hammered with Tokyopop deadlines, so it's another Reaping Profit day for us here. Looks like this story is going to be our pinch hitter, popping up wherever it can fit until another chapter or title concludes. I'm already 12 weeks ahead on it, but it'll just have to take a hand-me-down publishing schedule until something changes.
I don't mind telling you, I'm stumped about when to run Reaping Profit. I'm sitting here on top of 12 weeks of pages, but I've got a full week for the entire summer. Sketchy Saturday's loaded up till Halloween, Citizen X till Labor Day, Dose is all set for at least a year, She's Famous Now is good for the next month, albeit minus color...and I don't want to displace Prose Wednesday, which gives Tomas' beautiful Invisible, Inc. art an extra day to shine.
It's a stumper, that's for sure. I guess Reaping Profit is going to float in orbit until a slot opens up, the first comic to get put on hiatus for being too productive.
Meantime, I'll put a gallery page up with Lockpress and see if isn't worth a Sacajawea to someone to read the whole thing in one go.
Tomas is hammering out a deadline for Avatar this week, so I'm going to bump Invisible, Inc. with the first Reaping Profit. Fact is, I can't pencil, ink and color nearly as fast as I can simply pencil and adjust the levels, but this is a black comedy that lends itself better to this palette at any rate.
We'll see if I can continue to whomp out She's Famous Now, or if Reaping Profit picks up Sundays so I have time to color and letter SFN and then just release it as one big chunk later.
At any rate, here's the hilarious tale of the world's greatest salesman and his terminal illness. Enjoy!
Brian LeTendre at Secret Identity just asked me some questions about the junk I write, and I answered them in a semi-serious manner. Mostly it's me listing everyone I admire in comics and comedy.
