Still doing my AlphaSmart 3000 rehabs and upgrades, and still finding pieces of people’s lives and childhoods they probably don’t even remember themselves. This one, though…this one is poignant, and I wish it were something its author could forget: a gut punch to a kid who didn’t do anything to hurt anyone. I really hope this child was reunited with their brother sooner than expected and they’ve had a happy life ever since.

One day, I rode my bike and I came back and my brother was know ware to be fowned. I was wearyed because i could'ent find him at all. I asked my mother where was he. She told me he went to jail. I started to cry. I love him very much. I asked her why he went to jail. She told me he stole a car. The next day I went to the jail that he was in with my mother to visit my brother. When we got thare I seen the barb wier all over the fenses. When I huged my brother I felt the shackals on him. I heardthe shackal going chuck chuck chuck. I alsowe smelled the bad cafitera food. My brother said "it tasted like a garbig truck". I asked him "why did you do it"? He told me,"IDK". I think it was a stuped thing to do. It was a stupid thing to do because you should'ent steel from others. I learnd that you should never steel from others at all. If you get caught steeling you will get put in jail. Jail is'ent a fun place to be in. In jail you got to do what ever thay say at all times. Thay watch you at all cast and will shoot at you if you try to excape. My brother will be in jail for 9 years. I think 9 years is a very long time. I will be 23 when he gets out of jail. I cant wat for him to get out of jail I miss him a lot.
